COVID-19 Policies

The CWA is looking forward to hosting our annual Summit May 18-20, 2022, in beautiful Salt Lake City, UT and is working hard to develop an exciting and engaging event. 

 

While we plan for the fun, we also want to ensure the safety and comfort of all those joining. Leading up to the event we will closely monitor all local, state, and federal regulations related to group gatherings and adjust as necessary. 

 

Additionally, we are working closely with experts at the Salt Palace to address onsite needs related to health and safety.

SUMMIT POLICIES

AND BEST PRACTICES 

  • Stay home if you are sick or have any symptoms of COVID-19 (including any variants of COVID-19) and get tested for COVID-19. 

  • Prior to getting a badge, proof of full-vaccination, OR proof of a negative COVID test (Antigen and PCR) 72 hours prior to arrival will be required for all attendees. We will accept digital records of both vaccination and negative tests as applicable. 

  • Those who are not fully vaccinated and/or have been in close contact with someone with a confirmed case of COVID-19 should quarantine and get tested for COVID-19.  

  • All participants, including, but not limited to, attendees, speakers, sponsors, volunteers, CWA staff, service providers, and others are expected to abide by our policies and respect the comfort level of other attendees. 

  • Masks are optional at the event but the CWA will have masks on hand for those who wish to wear one. 

  • While indoors and near others, please respect physical distancing as recommended by the CDC. 

  • Cover coughs and sneezes and wash hands often.

ATTENDEE WAIVER 

At check-in attendees will, among other things, be asked to acknowledge that they are not experiencing the symptoms of COVID-19 and that attending the CWA Summit may have certain risks, including COVID-19, its variants, and other viruses.

 

No one will be admitted without a signed waiver.

COVID REFUNDS AVAILABLE

We want you to feel comfortable attending the conference and attend only if you are feeling well. If you need to cancel your registration due to COVID-19 we will issue a partial refund. 

 

Any attendee who receives a positive diagnosis of COVID-19 between May 4th and 17th will be eligible for a 75% refund. We are happy to work with you on registration fees paid to the CWA but cannot refund any out-of-pocket expenses for transportation, lodging, or meals.
